Cleaners, Pretreatment

Pretreatment cleaners remove drawing compounds and other metalworking fluids and can be applied by immersion and spray. To that end, we have developed a wide variety of cleaners to meet your specific requirements.

Cleaners, Spray

Cleans: Aluminum and its alloys

Cleans: Iron, steel, aluminum, zinc, titanium, copper, brass and magnesium
Form: Liquid
Highly-concentrated, silicate-free, multi-metal alkaline builder
Cleans: Steel, aluminum, and zinc substrates
Apply by: Spray, immersion

Removes: Difficult soils such as polishing and buffing compounds, stencil ink, drawing compounds, oils, greases and metalworking fluids
Cleans: Most metals including aluminum
Form: Liquid
Removes: Numerous difficult soils including drawing, buffing and polishing compounds
Cleans: Iron, steel, aluminum, zinc
Form: Liquid
Removes: Most soils associated with metal and plastics
Cleans: Steel, aluminum, plastics
Note: Immersion or spray
Form: Liquid
Removes: A wide variety of soils
Cleans: Steel, aluminum, galvanized and plastics
Note: Immersion or spray. Phosphorus-free, slight etch on aluminum.

Removes: A wide variety of soils
Cleans: Aluminum, steel and galvanized metal
Note: Immersion or spray. Slight etch on aluminum or zinc substrates.

Removes: Stubborn oils, grease and carbon-based soils

Note: Free of silicates, heavy pine odors, and it's biodegradable, too.

Removes: Mill oils, drawing compounds and other metalworking fluids
Cleans: Steel, cast iron and stainless steel at low temperatures
Note: Can be used on aluminum and zinc-coated substrates, although there will be some chemical attack on these substrates

Removes: Grease, oil, carbonaceous soils, drawing compounds, light rust and some paint films
Cleans: Iron and steel substrates
Form: Liquid
Removes: Buffing and polishing compounds, oils, greases, stencil inks and metalworking fluids
Cleans: Metals
Form: Liquid
Removes: Grease and oil deposits, drawing compounds, some paint films, light rust
Cleans: Ferrous metals
Note: Also brightens stainless steel
Form: Powder
Cleans: Iron, steel, aluminum, zinc
Form: Powder
Cleans: Iron and copper alloys prior to electroplating.
