Pre-Cleaning

Free-rinsing liquid for economical removal of tough buffing compounds from most metals.

Electro Cleaners
Form: Dry
Powdered alkaline material designed to anodically remove smut, oil, and other shop soils from steel prior to plating. Also used for reverse current cleaning of copper.

Inhibited alkaline, reverse current electrocleaner primarily designed for zinc-based die castings, copper and steel.
Specialties
Form: Dry
Powdered replacement for liquid mineral acids between electrocleaning and electroplating. The process solution neutralizes alkaline films, removes oxides and tarnish.
Form: Liquid
Bright Dip CB is a chromate-free, liquid chemical polish for brightening solid copper, brass and bronze. Inhibitor CB is a mildly alkaline, liquid tarnish inhibitor for copper alloys.
Form: Dry
Dry acid salt for oxide, scale and smut removal. The solution can be used with cathodic current for activation and scale removal.
Form: Liquid
Acidic material designed for removing oxides, heat scale stains and smut from stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, zinc, magnesium, titanium, zirconium, and inconel.
Form: Liquid
Powdered nitric acid replacement. In use with sulfuric acid, desmuts aluminum, microetches copper and removes zincate films from aluminum.
Form: Liquid
A liquid rinse aid used in the final stages of metal cleaning, plating and tumbling to improve rinsing. The solution makes drydown uniform, eliminates water spotting and tarnishing while retaining the bright finish of the metal.
Plating
Applied by batch or continuous operation, Gardobond CU 15 is a process for electroless copper plating of iron material to facilitate wire drawing.
